## What we make
- **Full dentures** — conventional, premium, and digital dentures
- **Immediate dentures** — fabricated from study models with extractions marked
- **Cast-frame partial dentures** — chrome-cobalt frameworks designed in CAD, surveyed and verified on the master model
- **Flexible partials** — Valplast, Flexstar, and similar thermoplastic options
- **Implant-retained overdentures** — Locator- and bar-retained
- **Repairs and relines** — denture repairs, soft and hard relines
## Our denture process
A great denture comes from a careful process — not a rushed one. A typical conventional denture moves through:
1. **Final impressions** in custom trays
2. **Bite registration & vertical dimension**
3. **Wax try-in** with tooth selection (mold and shade)
4. **Processing & finishing**
5. **Delivery**
For digital dentures, we compress that into fewer appointments using scanning and milled or printed PMMA bases.
## Esthetic options
We work with premium tooth lines so your patients have choices:
- Vita MFT and Physiodens
- Ivoclar SR Phonares and Vivodent
- Heraeus Mondial and Mondial-i
- Dentsply Portrait and Genios
For high-esthetic cases the owner can characterize tissue and teeth with stains for natural-looking gingiva and tooth gradients.
## Why owner-fabrication matters for dentures
Dentures are a craft. Tooth set-up, midline, smile line, vertical dimension — each one is a small judgment call that adds up to a denture the patient is happy to wear. Because every denture at Northwest Dental Studio is set up and finished by the same technician (the owner), your patients get consistency from one case to the next.
## What we need from you
- Final impressions (or scans with stable trays) and a custom-tray request if you want us to build one
- Vertical dimension and centric bite
- Tooth mold and shade — or ask us for guidance based on the patient’s photos
- Notes on patient history (existing denture experience, tissue concerns)
## Denture & partial FAQs
What kinds of dentures do you make?
Conventional full dentures, premium full dentures, immediate dentures, cast-frame partial dentures (chrome-cobalt), flexible thermoplastic partials (Valplast, Flexstar), and implant-retained overdentures.
How long does a full denture case take?
Standard full-denture turnaround across the wax try-in is 10 to 14 working days. Immediate dentures are typically built in 7 to 10 days from final impressions.
Can you do digital dentures?
Yes. With closed-mouth impressions or scans plus a bite registration, we can build a milled or printed denture in fewer appointments. Ask if a case is a good candidate.
Which tooth lines do you stock?
We work with Vita MFT and Physiodens, Ivoclar SR Phonares and Vivodent, Heraeus Mondial and Mondial-i, and Dentsply Portrait and Genios. Tell us a preference or ask for a recommendation based on the patient’s photos.
Do you do repairs and relines?
Yes — denture repairs, soft relines, and hard relines. Call ahead so we can hold time on the bench for a quick turnaround.
