## What we do digitally

- **Digital wax-ups and smile design** — for treatment planning
- **Verification jigs and try-ins** — milled or printed before final fabrication
## When digital helps the most
Digital workflows shine on:
- **Implant cases** — scan body workflow, custom abutment design, guided surgery
- **Full-arch and multi-unit cases** — milled try-ins shorten the path to a comfortable final
- **Anterior esthetics** — digital wax-up plus printed mock-up before the patient commits
- **High-volume crown and bridge** — faster, more consistent fit when the scan is good
## What makes a good scan
A few quick tips we wish every practice knew:
- Capture **occlusal, buccal, and lingual** completely — don’t stop at occlusal
- Get a clean **margin** all the way around the prep
- Take the bite scan with the patient closing on **both sides** — not just one
- Send a **shade photo with a tab** held next to the prep tooth
If a scan isn’t going to give us what we need, the owner will call before starting design.

Which intraoral scanners can you accept cases from?
All major scanners — Align iTero (Element, Lumina), 3Shape Trios, Dentsply Sirona Primescan and CEREC, Medit (i500, i600, i700), Carestream CS 3700 and 3800, and Planmeca Emerald. Tell us your scanner and we’ll set up the connection.
Do I need a scanner to work with you digitally?
No. We accept traditional PVS impressions and convert them into a digital workflow by scanning the model in-lab. Many of our cases still come in as conventional impressions.
What do you fabricate digitally?
CAD-designed restorations with exocad, in-house milled zirconia, lithium disilicate (e.max), PMMA, and CoCr, plus 3D-printed models, surgical guides, try-ins, and digital dentures.
Can you make a surgical guide from a CBCT?
Yes. Send the CBCT (DICOM) along with an intraoral scan and we’ll plan the case with you and produce a printed guide.
